Geez!, Until today, I did not know Lesbians cannot belong to a church. Is there a precondition that you must not be a lesbian before you become a Christian or you join any church in Ghana?

Few weeks ago,  rumours were flying around the internet that Delay, Confidence Haugen, Confused/Banned-Yvonne Nelson and others are championing Lesbianism in Ghana. Hey, My lil sister is still in Ghana oo, please no one should touch her…LOL

If you want to know what the ‘I am single and not dating any man’ football team captain told NewsOne when they asked her about her alleged ‘Supi Supi’ relationship, continue reading…..

Ghanaian Celebrities Were Not Recognised At Cannes Film Festival & Therefore No Red Carpet For Them, It Was All Lies…

Majid Michel, Nadia Buari and Others At Cannes
Majid Michel, Nadia Buari and Others At Cannes

Somewhere last week, I had a long separate chit chats via phone with Actress Juliet Ibrahim and Mr Fred Numah (Founder/CEO of Ghana Movie Awards) when they were in France for the Cannes Film Festival.

During our conversation, Juliet Ibrahim who could not believe a false story that was published on our celebrities having been on a red carpet at Cannes expressed her dissatisfaction and shock about the entire Ghanaian- Cannes visit arrangement.

From what I gathered from my convo with Juliet Ibrahim as to what was really going on at Cannes as far as our celebrities were concerned , it seemed our stars namely Nadia Buari, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro,  Majid Michel, John Dumelo and others who were sponsored by the Ghana Movie Awards to the film festival had nothing scheduled for them out there.

They cheaply jumped on planes and went there to walk about as tourists or persons who had come to see the Hollywood stars… Even tourists have aims for visiting places, our celebrities were purely aimless.

It was therefore a big shock to Juliet Ibrahim to have read that, some Ghanaian celebrities out there in Cannes had graced the red carpet. Apart from the issue of red carpet, Juliet Ibrahim also pointed out that, she was not pleased with the way things were arranged for them.  There was no hotel rooms reserved for them and they did not have any planned means of transport.  Our stars jumped in and out of trains and taxis as if they were ‘I and I’…

Weekly Discussion, Let’s Get Talking: Are Nigerian Men Nicer & Friendlier Than Ghanaian Men As Confused/Banned Actress ‘Yvonne Nelson’ Said?

If you are a lady in your late 20’s like me and if the pressure from family & friends is getting unbearable, then you have definitely tried many nationalities in an attempt to catch that Mr Right.  Being single is cool but most people especially family members do not see it that way.

I surely want to get married soon but if the men are not on point, what do you expect me to do? God even knows that I have tried enough, I have crossed nations and have pushed aside all tribal  boundaries hoping to pick up my Mr Right…

I have gone on countless dates which I have frankly cut down in recent months because most of the men coming up are either looking for the thing down my skirt or are con artists. To cut long story short, I have been around both Ghanaian and Nigerian men but how dare any woman compare any man to our amazing, friendly and nice Ghanaian men?

I was so shocked to have read that in a recent interview,  Confused/Banned Actress ‘Yvonne Nelson’ was able to open her mouth and say “Nigerian men are nicer and friendlier than Ghanaian men.”

No wonder Chris-Vincent constantly tags her ‘Confused’. This might be as a result of her getting mid 20’s crisis because I never have once come across any to match my Ghanaian men..

Yvonne Nelson At The Game's Premier
Yvonne Nelson At The Game's Premier

Most Ghanaian celebrities we have faced with the question of trading sex for movie roles in the Ghanaian movie industry have denied ever doing that but knowing of its existence in the industry.

I quite remember during our Audio interview with Yvonne Nelson (posted below again); she also acknowledged the fact that this dirty practice has been deep rooted in our entertainment industry. But she has not been asked for sex in exchange for any role….

Some good for nothing directors (except their big pot bellys) are taking advantage of desperate and talented young girls, who seek to enter the Ghanaian movie industry.  It is sad to hear or read mails like the one below. No wonder our screens are filled with so many talentless actresses.

How on earth can a man of one’s father’s age with little money to produce crap movies ask a girl of his daughter’s age to sleep with him before considering giving her a role… Pathetic indeed!… Read below what happened to a young sister I spoke to today after receiving her mail in her attempt to become a movie star in Ghana….
