There is a new trend in Nigeria now—the social media fans of the celebrities are asking their stars for direct monetary help to pay for fees and medical bills.
That may sound great but it seems some of the fans are taking it too far—and they are indeed taking the piss.
Apparently, Naeto C recently gave a fan N100,000 for his school fees and on the back of this, another fan asked former Big Brother Africa winner-Uti Nwachukwu for a specified amount of cash to pay his school fees.
Uti Nwachukwu gladly offered to help but he actually wanted to give him half of the amount—and this is when the fan showed him that, a beggar has a choice.
Instead of being grateful, the fan told him point blank that that’s not enough. So the Nigerian Big Brother Africa star took to twitter to put the fan on blast…
