George Zimmerman recently placed the gun he used to shoot Trayvon Martin to death in 2012 on auction, saying he is selling an ‘American Firearm Icon’.
Zimmerman’s auction was initially taken down, but it was later put back up; and a bid of $120,000 turned out to be the winning bid.

Zimmerman has placed the gun up for online auction, with bidding set to start at $5,000. He says proceeds from the gun are to be used to fight Hilary Clinton’s anti-firearm rhetoric and to end the violence against officers fuelled by the Black Lives Matter Movement.
