A gas tanker unloading the substance near a Total filling station in Sekondi Takoradi this morning exploded, injuring over 100 people, reports indicate.
The incident occurred Thursday morning and caused a blazing inferno which Fire officials struggled to control and which caused more injuries as it raged on.
