Sometimes I don’t even understand why some Ghanaian dancehall artistes keep competing with Stonebwoy on the issue of who is the best dancehall artiste when they know within them that they don’t come anywhere him.
While some of his so-called competitors are fighting over titles in Ghana they don’t even deserve, Stonebwoy is making Ghana proud internationally.
Fans of the BHIM Nation boss Stonebwoy have yet another monster collaboration to look forward to from their beloved leader as he’s secured a collaboration with Jamaica’s Beenie Man.
The two dancehall heavyweights are working together on a new song which would be released later in the year.
In 2017 Livingstone Etse Satekla aka Stonebwoy released a masterpiece of an Album that chalked a lot of success within the year under review.
His 2017 album titled Epistles Of Mama which was named after his late mother and co-produced by Burniton Music Group and Zylofon Media had a lot of local and international features on it.
Zylofon Music signed international dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy launched his first 24-track album, “Epistles Of Mama” around June 2018, on which he featured Jamaican dancehall superstar, Sean Paul on one of the songs.
However, there were earlier reports that the Bhimnation boss has sidelined his Jamaican singing partner from the album.
Ghana’s finest Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy a few days ago released the music video of his “Most Original” song on his EOM album featuring Sean Paul.
The song is undoubtedly a world-class masterpiece looking at the lyrics and the arrangements ─not forgetting the classic combination of beats in the song.
The year 2017 is ending and so far it has been good for some Ghanaian artistes as they appear on almost all the big shows both in and outside Ghana.
Now dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has been billed to perform in Sierra Leone on December 30.
Stonebwoy continues what has been a year of immense achievements as he’s set to be featured on a new album by Jamaican artist Chi Ching Ching.
‘Turning Table’, set to be released anytime soon, features the ‘Hero’ hitmaker on one of its songs, making it the 5th time just this year that Stonebwoy has appeared on a Caribbean album.
Dancehall legend Sean Paul has criticised Drake, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer, and Kanye West for what he considers irresponsible appropriation of the genre and Jamaican patois in an interview with The Guardian.
“It is a sore point when people like Drake or Bieber or other artists come and do dancehall-orientated music but don’t credit where dancehall came from and they don’t necessarily understand it,” he said.
