GHAMRO President Rex Omar has come out to clarify some misconceptions surrounding the organisation’s plan to collect royalties from churches.
Rex Omar said the plan had been misconstrued to mean churches would pay royalties for musics they play during praises and worship, something he denied.
The feud between Shatta Wale and the Ghana Music Rights Organisation just keeps getting hotter and hotter and it looks like Shatta is going haywire just as he promised.
In an Fb Live video Thursday, Shatta Wale tackled the claim by GHAMRO that they had paid him his royalties through a rep at Bullhaus, Bulldog’s company, which used to represent Shatta.
Rex Omar is being quite generous here in declaring Shatta ‘highlife king’, because if you listen to him carefully, he’s actually the ‘jama king’.
But then, who am we to disagree with Rex Omar?
