Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, leader of Glorious Word Ministry, has been lauded and dued enough grace for correctly prophesying the electoral victory of Nana Akufo-Addo.
Rev Owusu Bempah has just stated on Ohemaa Woyeje’s Work and Happiness on Adom Adom Fm that John Mahama will lose this year’s election and Nana Akufo Addo will win–adding that, blood is on John Mahama’s hands.

This guy is all over the place, from challenging Obinim to ‘spiritual contests’ to the death and now claiming credit for motor accidents.
How many ‘crimes’ would these quack pastors have to confess to before any of them get arrested?
I love how this guy, like most of these pastors, unconsciously portray God as someone who realises tragedies are about to happen, but does nothing about it unless people beg him. It’s a very human need for self aggrandisement that the supposed creator of the universe should be bigger than.
But that’s precisely how these omnipotent deities are portrayed, because bad things happen every day, which they presumably see but could care less about.
Founder and Leader of The Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has gazed into the crystal ball of prophecy and foreseen the next president of Ghana.
The oft controversial preacher was on Restoration with Stacy, the very show that launched Ghana’s biggest controversy of the past fortnight (Mzbel’s Jesus comment), and made the declaration on the show.
According to him, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, is set to win the next elections in 2016 and become Ghana’s fifth President of the Fourth Republic.
It’s not a secret that Rev. Owusu Bempah and Archbishop Duncan Williams have in the past threw punches at each other—but until today, most people did not know what caused these men of God who were once ‘friends’ to start squeezing the neck of each other…
According to Rev. Owusu Bempah, it’s because of politics (and money) that Duncan Williams has turned against him. He said “Duncan Williams has turned against me because of politics, although he was the very person who laid hands on me. But when I send my tithes to him, he receives them. I have stopped going to him since he came out to attack me and question my credibility because I had given a prophecy that did not favour President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress.
“The Archbishop came out to question my calling but when I go to his house, he sends me to his bedroom and we sit on his bed and have discussions and when he sees me, he calls me ‘Prophet’. He is not my spiritual father. But he was the one who laid hands on me. That ordination was to have been done by Eastwood Anaba. Salifu Amoako was ordained with me on that day.”

Ghanaians have a new mystery to solve today, as the head pastor of the Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev Owusu Bempah, has found himself in some pretty hot waters over a supposed prophecy he made. Inexplicably, for the first time in my life, we’re dealing with a Man of God running away from a potentially true ‘prophecy’.
On the 31st December last year, Rev Owusu Bempah had a prophecy that a big time musician in this country was going to die. Seconds later, the story goes, he heard the word Castro whispered in his ear.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this should be the most open and shut case in the history of prophecies. Even Joseph doubted when he was told his virgin wife was with child via the holy spirit, but I see no room for ambiguity in Rev Bempah’s prophecy.
However, Rev Owusu Bempah, who two seconds earlier had announced a prominent Ghanaian musicianwould die, says he asked his congregation who Castro was? Amazingly, his congregation conveniently forgot the part about the musician, and someone in there shouted that Castro is the president of the Republic of Cuba.
So, the congregation went ahead to pray for Fidel Castro, to forestall his supposed death.
Here’s the best part: Rev Owusu Bempah actually knows Castro personally, he said they play football together, alongside Asamoah Gyan and some other prominent personalities.
So to sum up this crazy story; you know Castro the musician personally, God supposedly tells you a Ghanaian musician would die, whispers Castro into your ears two seconds later, and you go all the way to communist Cuba to find Castro?
Does any of this make any sense?
