Anoff, a controversial figure who’s worked closely with singing duo the FOKN Bois, said that Reggie built on the work done by hiplife’s true pioneers, and that whilst he popularised the genre, it is factually wrong to call him its originator.
Reggie Rockstone is by and large considered the originator of hiplife music in Ghana, at the very least one of its most prominent pioneers- thus he certainly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to issues of rap.
