Reginald Kojo Ainooson, one half of X-Factor darlings Reggie and Bollie, has come out to speak about the scandal involving him trying to bang a British girl– Marie Asemota.
According to Reggie, the entire thing was a manufactured scandal- he claims some of the audios released were edited and that he was friends with the girl for only a short time.
Reggie has a s*x scandal and probably a very pissed off wife to deal with, but he and partner Bollie continue to excite crowds all over the UK.
The pair performed at the Ipswich Regent on Sunday, before a full house as families crowded in to see this year’s X-Factor surprise finalists.
Reggie and Bollie have exploded onto the global scene after their stint on X-Factor, where they made a run to the final on the back of their exciting stage craft.
They have since inked a deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records label, and the euphoric pair have been speaking on the magic X-factor exposure have brought to the careers.
Amidst all the controversies, all the doubting of their talent, and all the criticisms, Reggie and Bollie are living their dream- and are just a few lucky breaks away from winning this season of X-Factor.
The pair has steadily progressed, after an unbelievable audition, through the stages. They aren’t the typical singing type X-Factor calls for, but they have progressed through gusto and an incomprehensible support from the public.
Lord Sugar is quite the loud personality on twitter. Along with Piers Morgan, the two have a running feud based on their support of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal respectively.
The entrepreneur also has quite the wealth of knowledge on several subjects, including, you know, how British talent shows work- he being British and all. And he is simply disgusted at the turn this year’s competition is taking.
Reggie and Bollie are days away from the biggest night of their lives, and it seems there is some huge trouble in paradise.
Because as we all know, nothing breaks a bond faster than two feuding women, who definitely would force their men to choose sides.
The hustling and self-belief of Reggie n Bollie, the two X-Factor contestants who have excitedly made it to the finals have paid off—it takes a lot of guts and confidence to jump from ‘British Got Talent’ to the finals of ‘X-Factor’, especially when you failed to make it past the audition stage at the former.
Reggie n Bollie’s success story is grounded in perseverance and the ability to hold onto your dreams when everyone has forgotten about you—that’s what real hustlers do.
It’s great and somewhat inspiring to see these ambitious young men from Ghana having excelled this much at a global stage but we should not in anyway substitute their individual struggles for a national victory.
Soon, a political party would add Reggie n Bollie’s success story to their 2016 campaign, saying, it was under their leadership that two Ghanaians made it to UK’s X-factor’s finals. This is not beyond the confines of the ‘deranged’ political landscape in Ghana—we all know what our people are capable of doing.
Reggie Zippy and Bollie have struggled as solo artistes in Ghana—the nation could not cushion their talents or dreams in any substantive way so they were ‘forced’ to relocate to the UK in search of a better life for themselves and their families.
There’s something going on here: Ghana’s ‘Menn On Point’ have made it as part of the final 12 to X-Factors’ Live and they’ve also changed their name from ‘Menn on Point’ to just “Reggie n Bollie.”
A few minutes ago, the duo managed to steal a spot as part of the final 12 with a lousy performance of Beatles’ Twist & Shout—but as we all know, it’s the X-Factor and not the Voice.

“The third spot could be controversial – it’s gone to Reggie and Bollie, formerly Menn On Point. Clearly the duo has been chosen for entertainment value as opposed to actual talent. But hey, this is the X Factor, not The Voice, and for that we’re all very grateful,” the Telegraph wrote in their live coverage.
Bollie and Reggie’s journey started when they won the attention of the X-Factor judges with their first audition, performing their own song. In the X-Factor house, the two performed Cheerleader from OMI a few weeks ago, which was really not great but their energy was enough to push them through.
Today, they’ve made it again to the most important stage of the competition with their unique style.
As to why the two stand out, they’ve said: “Our genre of music is completely different from what everyone else does – urban reggae. We are totally set apart from the other bands”
