Ghanaian and Nigerian heavyweights Wizkid and R2Bees have teamed up on a massive new collaboration.
The Ghanaian duo signed with Wizkid’s Starboy Worldwide label in a massive coup some months ago, and we are now seeing the fruits of that deal.
Ghanaian award winning music duo R2Bees have teamed up with Nigeria’s box office breaking, award winning star Wizkid to release this sizzling tune ‘More’.
The tune dropped Tuesday and you can have a listen to it here.
Omar Sterling and Mugeez have dropped the visuals for their single ‘Talk Talk’.
The duo, who make up the singing group R2Bees; have been working on solo projects but also continue to drop their collaborations.

Nominees for the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA’s) have started trickling in, with the first batch revealed during a launch ceremony for this year’s awards in Johannesburg.
It has already been announced that the October 22 ceremony would be hosted by The Daily Show host Trevor Noah in his hometown of Jo’burg, and the first nominees list was also revealed.

The Nigerian announced that he has reached deals to sign three huge Ghanaian artists to join his Starboy Worldwide record label- Efya, R2Bees and Mr Eazi.

Seems like Paedae might have fallen victim to such a ruse online, with an account seemingly impersonating him on Facebook, leading to a disavowal from the official R2BEES account.
R2Bees would get the chance to make a little continent wide splash when they perform at an upcoming musical concert in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The African Music concert would be held on November 21 in the South African capital, and Ghana’s R2Bees would be on hand to lend their talents to the success of the show.
The 13th annual Urban Music Awards is set to come off in London on November 21.
The award, presented by the Urban Music Awards Academy, honours the best in Hip Hop, Rn B, and Soul over the year in review, and was first held in 2003.
R2Bees music duo Paedae and Mugeez, have revealed in an interview yfmghana.com that they are not difficult but rather principled when it comes to doing business in Ghana’s music scene.
“When we came into the industry in 2008, it was not that perfect but I believe it has changed a lot. Paedae said; “Anyone who has followed the industry from way back, the approach was a total joke, from the artistes and promoters, to everybody running the industry. Artistes don’t know they are taken for granted.

After having been on a break for 3 years, the prestigious MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) has returned and yesterday, this year’s nominations were announced in Johannesburg, South Africa…
The 2014 awards will be held at the Durban International Convention Centre in South Africa on 7 June 2014.
After the nominations were revealed, Alex Okosi, the Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks Africa said; “We congratulate all the nominees for the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards. This year, the MAMA offers a stunning platform for African artists, it also celebrates the young personalities, leaders and creatives who are making a positive impact on the continent.”
