Either you regard this as a priority or not, the President of Ghana-John Dramani Mahama has stood by his words—and he is acting accordingly.

When the President announced the FREE school sandals initiative, many said it was not necessary with others claiming, he wouldn’t even keep to his words. He is known for not doing as he promises.

But this time, the President meant business and has handed over 10,000 school sandals to the Education Ministry for onward distribution to pupils in deprived communities.

The school sandals were made by the Defense Industry Holding Company; a shoe Factory owned by the Ghana Armed Forces—and let’s hope that is all, because we do not want any judgement debt on our head.

Can we also know the cost of these sandals?

Flip to the next page for a close look at the sandals…

President Mahama Promises Drastic Measures To Prevent Future Floods…Oh Yeah!

President Mahama_opt
President Mahama

We are in a very serious period and dealing with serious, life and death issues; but frankly I have to laugh at this clueless man.

We all predicted this, and lo and behold there they come to come and tell us stories. I find it amusing that they think we buy the rhetoric and manufactured concern. The John Mahama I saw on the television looked very much like a man in mourning; but that can only be described as genuine if anyone in his government had made any effort to fight what at this point has been established beyond reason as a yearly occurrence.

Instead nobody did or said anything, is it not strange that the meteorological service could not even give a warning about impending heavy rains? So we’re a failure on all levels, which some empty words which would come to be repeated again next year would do nothing to change.

Anyway, these are excerpts of what the President said.

VIDEO: President Mahama Could Not Find His Speech & He’s Being Applauded When Some Incompetent Douche Bag Should Have Been SACKED By Now…

President Mahama
President Mahama’s mess in Daily Post

It happened to the sacked Deputy Minister-Victoria Hammah when during a speech, she stopped to say that what she was reading was not the speech she edited. Obviously, someone had tampered with her speech or she could not simply find her speech.

For a few days now, President Mahama’s disaster at the opening of the 47th Ordinary Session of ECOWAS has become the talk of the town and surprisingly, media outlets like the one below and certain people are failing to see the incompetence behind this, rather applauding the President for the obvious disgrace.

So if a President cannot find the last two pages of his speech and he decides to continue by having a general conversation about the topic; is that something to be celebrated? Shouldn’t we be worried about where the last two pages disappeared to—and who was responsible for the mess?

The Hypocrisy of President Mahama and His Team: Furniture Imported From China To Equip Parliament Despite Clarion Call to Patronise Made in Ghana Goods

President Mahama
President Mahama

John Dramani Mahama has made it a habit to make bold pronunciations he and his team have no way or intentions of fulfilling, leading to him looking clueless in retrospect; a situation which has largely contributed to the general belief that this is one of the worst governments in the history of our dear nation.

Some time ago he took to the podium to make one of his many bold calls, calling on us all to patronise made in Ghana goods to help local industries. He went as far as to provide us with the list of things he uses daily which are supposedly made in Ghana.

Then came the refurbishment of parliament, a situation which called for the supply of 600 pieces of furniture for the chamber; 300 tables and 300 chairs- so it’s away to China we go!

The furniture arrived, Parliament was stocked, and then some of the MP’s pointed out the contradiction in the President making all this noise and then Parliament importing furniture from China.

Is President Mahama The Worst President We Have Ever Had? Some People Seriously Think So

John Mahama

I was reading a young lady’s blog today. Her name is Nana Ama and she wrote about why President Mahama just may go down as the worst leader ever. I was intrigued although there’s nothing about her rant that is a lie. We all know the facts and we have all vented in many ways but let me ask you, do you think/feel the same?

If you are old enough to have seen several governments before this one, then you will have a more objective and acceptable view.

I personally haven’t seen too many but I have witnessed enough to form an opinion. I was born into the Rawlings administration and I remember that period for some intensive focus on agriculture which yielded results. If for nothing, our bellies were full!

Then came his former Excellency, John Agyekum Kuffour with his financial sector improvement. His government was accused of many corrupt practices as it is with every government but we saw him improve on many things too. Ghanaians nicknamed him the gentle giant.

Fast forward to Agya Atta Mills who we lost to the cold hands of death. The ‘Asumdwe Hene’ did his best for Ghanaians and although we didn’t grow as fast as we wanted to, we at least managed sustenance.

PHOTOS OF THE DAY: President Mahama & Wife, Juliet Ibrahim, Becca and Naa Ashorkor

President Mahama and wife

Looking at the above photo of President John Dramini Mahama and his wife-Lordina, what comes in mind is the fact that, you never know where you will be tomorrow or where any person will be the next year. Therefore, we must treat ourselves and others with clean heart—so that when they get to the top, they may remember us. And if we are those to get on top first, we can look back and smile without regret.

Life is indeed is a long journey full of unexpected happenings…

Actress Yvonne Nelson Says President Mahama Should Not Be Blamed For the State of the Economy

Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson says President John Mahama should not be blamed for the current state of the Ghanaian economy—-we guess we have to blame her…right?

Yvonne Nelson is slowly poking her nose into politics when it is obvious she has little or no knowledge on governance. With many having thrown insults at her for her previous misguided political comment, we thought she will learn and keep her mouth shut for those who understand politics to do the talking…

line

According to Razz Newspaper;

The news-making actress, Yvonne Nelson does not only talk about acting, heartbreak and bleaching, she also has some say when it comes to governance and the state of the economy.

The actress shared her thoughts on the state of the Ghanaian economy when she conversed with KOD on GHOne’s Hanging out with KOD’ – where she expressed her displeasure on the inability of her leaders to provide basic things like water, electricity and fuel for the people.

The ‘House of Gold’ actress admitted that she is not happy with African politicians including those in Ghana and what is going on in the country. However, she thinks President John Mahama should not be blamed for the current state of our economy especially on issues to do with water shortages and inconsistent electricity supply.

President Mahama Says He Is Being Forced To SACK Finance Minister-Seth Terkper

John Mahama

I do not think sacking the Finance Minister will change anything in Ghana—probably sacking the entire Government may make a difference. The compounding problems of Ghana is not being caused by the dealings of one person-the Finance Minister.

According to President John Dramani Mahama, extensive pressure is being mounted on him from within to sack Finance Minister-Seth Terkper for doing what the president sees to be right for the economy, though, bad for politics…

line

According to Radio XYZ;

President John Mahama says there’s pressure mounting on him from within his own government to sack his finance Minister.

He said certain reforms being engineered by Seth Terkper to tweak the economy to not only break the cycle of ills inherent within it but also fix certain fiscal weaknesses through some reforms, have got tongues wagging in the government, thus the pressure for his dismissal.

POLITRICKS OF THE DAY: President Mahama Says To Ghanaians: ‘Stop Complaining; God Has Blessed Us’

President Mahama Sipping

In a time like this, although I do not hate the president, I find his comment really irritating and in bad taste.

If he was a local man on the streets, he would not have the nerve to further aggravate people’s nerves at a time like this. Maybe he would appreciate the suffering of the people more.

Politicians in Ghana think they are omnipotent?—too much goofing. Just after the minister of Petroleum and Energy  Kofi Buah told us ‘Turn your lights off, if electricity is expensive’, the president of Ghana John Mahama has thrown his own stones at Ghanaians.

I find the presidents utterances to the economic plight of people totally insensitive. How do you tell us not to complain? As if we are all swimming in a lap of political luxury. I think at this point the only people who manage to smile are politicians only.

Who manages the president’s communication? The president’s communication team needs to sit up! I will repeat this anywhere. His communication is grossly mismanaged.

From publicly declaring the increase of football bonuses from his own mouth in the middle of labour strikes and unrests to telling Ghanaians to stop complaining! I am not amused.

After saying this, the president added that he is confident Ghana will come out of it difficulties in due season just as developed nations like the United States of America and England. He explained that the developed nations also went through such hurdles but later overcame them—-he said this at a thanksgiving service in his honour at the Star of The Sea Catholic Church yesterday.

POLITRICKS OF THE DAY: ‘I Won’t Tolerate Corruption’ Says President Mahama

One of the reasons people hate politics is that truth is rarely a politician’s objective. Did President Mahama Disrespect The Black Stars By Saying ‘I’m Glad I Didn’t Go’ To South Africa To Watch Their Match Against Burkina Faso?

Personally, I do not find anything disrespectful about what the president said and as a human being like all of us, he would have been extremely embarrassed if he had gone to South Africa purposely to watch the Black Star’s defeat. The defeat coupled with the bad officiating which was over generous to the Black … Read more

POLITRICKS OF THE DAY: President Mahama Is Confused And Sloppy With Appointments — Kwesi Pratt

President Mahama Says Gov’t Will Support The Growth Of Creative Arts

Creative Arts Ghana

President Dramani Mahama has given the assurance that government would make a substantial budgetary allocation towards the creative Arts in order to create more jobs and make the country more attractive to visitors.

He said under the re-aligning of departments and ministries, the creative arts that was under the Ministry of Culture and Chieftaincy Affairs would now be moved to another Ministry to make it more vibrant and dynamic.

President Mahama gave this assurance when members of the industry called on him on Wednesday at the Castle, Osu. The delegation was at the Castle to congratulate him for winning the 2012 general election and his subsequent investiture as President of the Republic and to also thank him for the budgetary allocation made for their industry last year.
