President Mahama: I’d Rather Lose the Election than Restore Teacher Trainee Allowance
President John Dramani Mahama says he’s a man of principles, at least on this particular issue and therefore he would rather lose the upcoming elections than to restore the scrapped teacher trainee allowance.
Mahama says his opponents are playing a dirty political game with the teacher trainee allowance issue and for him, he’s just going to do what’s good for Ghana even if it will cost him a win.
According to Mahama, the decision to scrap the allowance was carefully thought out and is in the larger interest of the students.
“I believe this is equitable, it is a matter of social justice, and it opens more opportunities to young Ghanaians who want to change the profession,” he said.

Evidently Mzbel has rightfully earned the right score with the president— that is the only way to explain this. It is not everyday that the president randomly sends a shout out to people. We can all attest that, the Legelege singer deserves this one.
Afia Schwarzenegger wherever she is better sit up as someone may be earning higher scores than she ever could make in a lifetime.

Since the small increase, the President has been pressured to add something more as the dollar increase wouldn’t do anything for the men and women who put their lives at risk for global peace.
And President Mahama has succumbed to pressure from the Ghana Armed Forces over their peacekeeping allowance, which he has now increased from $31 to $35, according to DailyGuide.

President Mahama Tells CHRAJ: Dismiss All Allegations Against Me…I’m Innocent—Ford Expedition Saga
President Mahama says he’s innocent and that CHRAJ should dismiss all the allegations levelled against him in relation to the Ford expedition saga.

But his lawyer says, the facts presented did not support the allegations of conflict of interest made against the President.
