Ghana marks 60 years of being independent and adding to the celebrations, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared the Osu Coastal facility built by the Danes in 1661 which previously housed Ghana’s Presidency to be a National Presidential Museum.

During the commissioning of the Osu Castle now a Museum, Nana Addo said the venue will have a “state-of-the-art museum that will house presidential artifacts, presidential papers, wax works of our president, and also have on display personal possessions like books, artwork and items of clothing to allow us to honour appropriately their memories.”
