That was quick. Soon after it was explained to her that her 32 year old running mate cannot, by law, stand for the position, Akua Donkor and her party has produced her ‘real’ birth certificate, which proves that she is 42 years old.
Patricia Asante spoke to Graphic Online Wednesday and produced her shiny new birth certificate, proving that she is indeed 42 years old, as Akua Donkor had claimed earlier when she said Asante did not know her date of birth because she lost her father at a tender age.

Akua Donkor announced her running mate Monday, an illiterate farmer known as Patricia Asante.  Asante gave her age to the press as 32 years, something Akua Donkor did not challenge as she at the time did not realise what was wrong with that age herself.
