According to these pretty nurses, it has been difficult for them to land in meaningful relationships simply because Ghanaian men are scared to approach them judging from the misconception out there that nurses are disrespectful and materialistic.
GhanaCelebrities.com has sighted a hilarious video on social media where student nurses were seen busily singing a song composed using the word ‘vagina’.
Digging deep into the video, it’s obvious that the funny song was composed using the word ‘vagina’ for teaching and learning purposes looking at the mood of the students during the singing session.
It is quite pathetic and unbelievably dumbfounding as nothing, absolutely nothing seems to work well and properly in this country of ours. Sometimes I mutter to ask myself whether if I find myself in a cursed country.
Not a single system or structure in this country seems to work genuinely. Our hospitals lack common beds, issues with water and electricity still persistent, workers are not paid their salaries, professional Nurses demonstrating for jobs, lack of chalks in our schools, teeming youth unemployment and a whole lot of problems abound in this country.
So yesterday across the length and breadth of Ghana both private and government trained nurses from various Colleges of Nursing Institutions scattered all over Ghana embarked on some sort of nationwide demonstration to put pressure on government to post them to various hospitals to start working as qualified nurses.
Overall the demonstration was a peaceful one with no casualties whatsoever. They demonstrated peacefully and handed over their petitions to various government appointees.
Five nurses with a US hospital all received suspensions after they took turns admiring the huge p*nis of a patient who was unconscious at the hospital they worked at.
Even after the patient died, the nurses allegedly came to check out his manhood, with one opening his body bag to show other nurses his ‘package.’
About 200 bonded allied health nurses who have suffered the fate of unemployment for close to two years and resulted in series of picketing at the Ministry Of Health premises have been financially cleared to be employed.
This comes after the group threatened to extend their picketing from the ministry to the flagstaff house.
For the past two days, and even through yesterday’s rains in Accra, devastated unemployed Nurses have besieged the premises of the Health Ministry, demanding Government to immediately post them else they are sleeping there forever.
All the Nurses are said to be fresh graduates from Nursing Trainee Schools who have never been posted as their usual system of employment demands. Some of them have been home from 2014 without a job.
