The National Organiser for the NDC, Kofi Adams, has sued the NPP’s Deputy General Secretary Nana Obiri Boahen for defamation.
Obiri Boahen passed comments to the effect that Kofi Adams had stolen some cars from the state – after the police seized his vehicles and later cleared him – leading to Adams arguing the statement as defamatory and thus filing suit.
The ruling New Patriotic Party, addressing a Press Conference in Accra, today has strongly indicated that President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo can not be held responsible for plagiarism.
After Nana Addo’s January 7th investiture, parts of his inaugural speech has been identified to be lifted from speeches of former presidents of the United States of America.
