The lawyer of NDC’s National Organiser, Kofi Adams, has called the bluff of government and dared them to send Kofi Adams to court if he has really done anything wrong.
Samson Lardi Ayenini, speaking with Joy News’ Evans Mensah, said that Kofi Adams has cooperated with the investigation even though he was not obliged to, but that now he’s being treated like a criminal as the police refuse to return his confiscated vehicles to him.
The President, Nana Addo Danwka Akufo-Addo, has approved the creation of a new inter-agency taskforce to be charged with retrieving state property from the hands of former government officials and other private citizens.
A statement from the Presidency signed by Chief of Staff Frema Osei-Opare, noted that government’s attention has been drawn to such state properties not currently in the charge of the state, and are therefore charging the task force to retrieve said properties.
Unlike Mzbel who is mired in sour grapes and cannot bring herself to congratulate President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for beating her favourite candidate, Afia Schwarzenegger is calling for God’s blessings to descend on him as he takes office.
Nana Addo is set to be inaugurated today (January 7) and in anticipation of that, the comeddienne has sent out well wishes his way.
