Jamaican popular singer and poet, Allan Hope, popularly known by his stage name Mutabaraku picked Stonebwoy over Shatta Wale when he was asked in an interview on Metro TV to name his favourite Ghanaian artiste.
According to him, Stonebwoy has good lyrics and has been doing quality songs as compared to the shatta movement boss, Wale.
Two popular Ghanaian Dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been fighting over supremacy for years causing division in the Ghanaian Entertainment Industry.
Though a lot of top personalities have shared their opinions on who is the greatest among these two musicians still it remains a debate. The self-acclaimed dancehall king of Ghana, Shatta Wale rules the Ghanaian streets but most of his songs are ‘wack’ songs as compared to that of Stonebwoy.
