blankSomali born British track star Sir Mo Farah, who was knighted at the beginning of the year by Queen Elizabeth II, has strongly condemned the ban on immigration implemented by US President Donald J. Trump.

Called by critics as the ‘Muslim ban’ he proposed during campaigning, the US President has signed an order prohibiting immigration from seven Muslim majority countries, including Farah’s birth country of Somalia.

The Virgin Money London Marathon took place today and despite many people rooting for Olympic hero-Mo Farah who was having his first marathon experience, he placed 8th.

Kenyan world record holder Wilson Kipsang won this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon title as he finished the race on a time mark of hours, four minutes and 29 seconds.
