The nurses made news a few months ago when they picketed at the Ministry of Health for days asking for jobs which had been promised to them by government.

About 200 bonded allied health nurses who have suffered the fate of unemployment for close to two years and resulted in series of picketing at the Ministry Of Health premises have been financially cleared to be employed.

This comes after the group threatened to extend their picketing from the ministry to the flagstaff house.
