Ghanaian mortuary workers have threatened to embark on nationwide strike over the poor condition of service.
Mr Richard Kofi Jordan, the General Secretary of the Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG) explained that working conditions are not the best and they even have to use hand gloves for days which is a threat to their health.

The nurses made news a few months ago when they picketed at the Ministry of Health for days asking for jobs which had been promised to them by government.
About 200 bonded allied health nurses who have suffered the fate of unemployment for close to two years and resulted in series of picketing at the Ministry Of Health premises have been financially cleared to be employed.
This comes after the group threatened to extend their picketing from the ministry to the flagstaff house.
