Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Ocquaye, has refused a call by Amnesty International for homos*xuality to be decriminalized in Ghana.

The Committee set up to investigate allegations of bribery in Parliament presented their report on the floor of the house Thursday, sparking untold drama.

The Joe Ghartey led Committee said in their report that they had found no evidence of Ayariga’s bribery claim and thus, due to the slurs he had casted on the reputations of both the house and the honourable members he accused, he needed to apologise for his behaviour.

The Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Ocquaye, has called for the laws of Ghana to be made much clearer in regards to homos*xuality, and for the practice to be criminalised entirely.

Prof Ocquaye was speaking during a meeting with the head of Royal House Chapel, Rev Sam Korankye, who led a delegation from the church to pay a courtesy call on him.
