The backlash and indictment of plagiarism have compelled the speech writer of Melanie Trump’s much talked about speech to resign—but Republican Presidential candidate, Donald Trump has refused her resignation.
Meredith McIver, the speech writer says “the almost word-for-word lifting happened after Melania gave her passages, over the phone, from Michelle’s speech.”
McIver adds that she “wrote them down and later included some of the phrasing in the draft that ultimately became the final speech.”
