The Vice President John Mahama on Monday welcomed a delegation from both the Miss Ghana and Miss Ghana organization, at the Castle Osu.
The Miss World team is in the country on a five-day working visit, to officially cut the sod for the construction of a nursery facility for a day care centre at Ayalolo in the Greater Accra Region, as well as to attend the launch of Miss Ghana 2012.
Led by Executive Chairwoman of the Miss World organization Julia Morley, Ivian Sarcos, Miss World 2011, Miss Peurto Rico, Miss England and Chief Mandela, son of former South African leader Nelson Mandela, among a host of others including Stephanie Karikari, Miss Ghana 2010, and Inna Mariam Patty, organizer and franchise holder of the Miss Ghana event, the delegation were at the Castle to formally brief him on the purpose of their visit, and also to ask for his blessings for a smooth execution of the Beauty With a Purpose project embarked upon by Miss Ghana 2010 Stephanie Adwoa Adjeiwaa Karikari.
