The beauty of a democracy is that everybody has a right to make a choice and therefore, you shouldn’t expect that everyone will be singing the same chorus against President Mahama as incompetent or having achieved nothing during his tenure of office.
Ghanaian dancehall artiste-Shatta Wale’s former manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog has taken to his facebook to praise President Mahama—saying, he will vote for Mahama because under his leadership, entertainment in Ghana is booming.
Considering the fact that his former client-Shatta Wale recently said he made a whopping 30 billion old cedis in just 2015 from gigs, this may be true in their quarters—but is that the truth for most Ghanaian entertainers?
It’s hard to reconcile the downing economy and power crisis with Bulldog’s claims that the entertainment industry in Ghana has done much better under President Mahama.
