A lot of self-acclaimed prophets of God have been threatening celebrities with death prophecies, of which none has come to pass.

With the Highly anticipated Golden Movie Awards Africa holding two days away from now (June 27), organizers are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to create a night of African movies to celebrate talents of the continent’s rising and established movie stars.

Being organised by NMJ Ghana ,Ace Ghanaian satirist cum tv personality, Kweku Sintim-Misa (KSM) have been drafted as hosts of the first edition of Golden Movie Awards Africa .

The award show slated to take place Saturday, 27 June,2015 at the State Banquet Hall, will celebrate excellence in the creative art industry and honor individuals for their outstanding achievements in the film industry.

Ghanaian actor, satirist and TV Personality, Kwaku Sintim-Misa [KSM] has taken Ghanaian movie makers to the cleaners due to what he calls poor nature of their movies. Even though he didn’t mention names, he described their movies as “concert” to show his strong aversions.
The actor who doubles as the host of a weekly entertaining program on Metro TV; ‘Thank God it’s Friday’ utterances came at the time when the Ghana Movie Industry has seen a magnificent growth in the areas of costuming, directing, scripting and the equipment used in filming.
The growth has also seen major players in the industry winning prestigious awards in and out the African continent. Also Hollywood movie stars have made appearances in Ghanaian movies but KSM is unmoved.
