SCARY: Sugar Carrying Truck Falls Off Circle Flyover And Lands On 207 Passenger Vehicle – Several Injured

Tragedy struck at the newly constructed Kwame Nkrumah Interchange late Wednesday as a cargo vehicle fell off the flyover and partially landed onto a loading 207 passenger bus.

The trailer vehicle was climbing the interchange when it lost its balance and fell, with the loading passenger vehicle bearing some brunt of the fall.

The President, John Dramani Mahama, commissioned the Ghc 320m newly refurbished Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange on Monday and it was  a joyous day for the ruling party who believe the project an embodiment of the kind of development they are bringing to Ghana.

President John Dramani Mahama will today commission Accra’s newly built GH₵320.2 Million Kwame Nkrumah Interchange with colourful lights on full display–but not every Ghanaians is impressed.
On Facebook, several Ghanaians questioned why the commissioning will be done at night–with some replying that the night would allow the government to beautify the interchange with colorful lights to ‘fool’ Ghanaians.
Kwame Karikari wrote on Facebook: “This is beautiful but guess what, it is NEON LIGHTS—- let’s learn to demand what is profound from the people we choose to lead us.”
