The mother of the late Ebony, Madam Beatrice Opong Martin has revealed and explained the prophetic meaning of Ebony’s real name, Nana Hemaa which was given to her by her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng.
In one of her interviews in the wake and heat of her daughter’s death, Madam Beatrice Oppong Martin disclosed that Nana Opoku Kwarteng named Ebony as Nana Hemaa–a name which means ‘Queen’ and also symbolizes excellence and greatness.

It is clear that the Ghana movie industry is currently not doing well, it’s ‘dead’ and you don’t need a rocket scientist to convince you before you believe as a Ghanaian.
We have abandoned our own local movies and hailed foreign movies and telenovelas to the detriment of our own. Even though local movies lack the quality but that’s not enough reason for its neglect.
