Comedian Funny Face has been adjudged the most influential Ghanaian comedian on social media for 2016, ending what was a sour year for him on a somewhat high note.
The comedian topped the Ghana Social Media Rankings, which measures public figures and ranks them via their number of supporters, engagement with supporters and other metrics.
Former host of the AM Pluzz show on Pluzz Fm, Sammy Flex, is reportedly set for an upward career move as he lands a correspondent’s gig on the KSM show.
Flex, born Samuel Atuobi Baah, would join the show when it resumes next week.
Television personality Sandra Ankobiah appeared on the KSM show with Ghana’s preeminent satirist Kweku Sintim Misa and she had a lot to talk about. The former TV3 New Day host opened up to the comic on her career, revealing why she left the Ridge based station’s flagship show as host.
Comedian Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has revealed the one person on earth who he actually reposes more trust in that God himself – and that person is his barber. According to him, his barber is able to get his haircut order always correct, unlike God, who butchers it whenever he takes over.
Ghanaian satirist, KSM (real name Kwaku Sintim-Misah), in the heat of things has penned down his position on the current ongoing strike by members of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) over their conditions of service as medical doctors.
Titled ‘The Doctors’ Strike – New World Order’, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sapphire Ghana Limited gave reasons to support his position.

The Doctors’ Strike – New World Order
My position on the strike has been firm. I am against it. Of course it has come with a price. Descriptions like, “ignorant comedian” are among the very charitable statements that have come out.
Ghanaian comedian/TV personality-Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has come out to say; Bishop Obinim is certifiably insane—and if you ask me what I think, I would say he should not be operating a church; rather, he should be sectioned, preferably at Ankaful.
KSM took to twitter to write the below…
As I’ve always said, if you want the wisest man in the room to become stupid and suspend his thinking faculty to do anything you want, just throw in Religion and the God hypothesis—this is the reason why you find several educated people being led by people like Obinim.
On many levels, KSM is right—but the idiocy dwells not in just Obinim, the many who follow such ‘Men of God’ and choose not to use reason are equally guilty.
In related news, Kwaku Bonsam has also recorded a video from his current base in USA, admonishing Bishop Obinim and asking him to render an unqualified apology to former President-Jerry John Rawlings.
I guess Obinim will visit me in my dream and I will punch his face in the same dream.

Comedy in Ghana has somehow changed but not drastically. It is part of the creative industry that somehow thrives by bringing ‘foreigners’ in to keep that arm of the industry relevant. I don’t blame organizers when they pay ‘outsiders’ to do that job because comedians are not in the system (I mean the type we … Read more

Ghanaian actor, satirist and TV Personality, Kwaku Sintim-Misa [KSM] has taken Ghanaian movie makers to the cleaners due to what he calls poor nature of their movies. Even though he didn’t mention names, he described their movies as “concert” to show his strong aversions. The actor who doubles as the host of a weekly entertaining program on Metro TV; ‘Thank God it’s Friday’ utterances came at the time when the Ghana Movie Industry has seen a magnificent growth in the areas of costuming, directing, scripting and the equipment used in filming. The growth has also seen major players in the industry winning prestigious awards in and out the African continent. Also Hollywood movie stars have made appearances in Ghanaian movies but KSM is unmoved.
Chapter 4 of Shirley Frimpong Manso’s ten chapter cinema movie series ‘Adams Apples’ will receive a Grand opening at the SilverBird Cinema tomorrow-Friday, 16th September, 2011(8pm/9:45pm).
In Chapter 4, the story becomes very interesting with unbelievable scandals and more ‘wahala’ as ‘five different people dash marathon-style towards an emergency room, one after the other, to open up a new chapter in the busy lives of the Adams.
Jennifer plays the good friend as she accompanies Linda to a doctor’s appointment. She is rewarded with the charming Dr. Nate. Who knows? This gentleman just might be Mr. Right, instead of that school boy whom she believes “seems to have evaporated into thin air.” The vengeful Ivy however teaches Jennifer she might have spoken too soon, when she ambushes her with an unbelievable scandalous story!
An unplanned rendezvous the night before destroys Kukua’s chances with Denu, just as they are about to take the step that could wipe away the past and bring them together for good.
It’s hardly any easier for Mrs. Adams, who struggles with her conscience, at war with all common sense and advice on keeping her long-buried secret hidden. The only one for whom things seem to turn out okay is Baaba, who is working things out with her eager husband. But wait, there’s a new arrival in town- and skeletons might just start falling out of the closet.’
If you are in Accra and its vicinity and have already seen Adams Apples’ Chapter 1,2 and 3, you cannot miss out on tomorrow’s Grand opening of Chapter 4. You surely can’t let the extra ‘Wahala and excitement’ pass you.
Remember, you do not have to see Chapter 1, 2 and 3 to be able to follow, understand, appreciate and fully enjoy Chapter 4 of Adams Apples.
