The official announcement was made at a press briefing on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Accra. Kofi Asamoah, Chief Executive Officer of KOFAS Media, laid out the production’s house production schedule, citing late February as the commencement of the movie.
According to him, the movie will be shot with a budget of $150,000; co-funded by Miracle Wave International Limited. He called on the public to be on the lookout for the movie since it’ll be a local movie with high international flavor.
Kofas Media, producers of the much anticipated movie, Amakye & Dede, has officially released two artworks of the upcoming movie.
Amakye & Dede has been described by the producers as the official Easter movie. It’s a romantic comedy movie that tells the story about two best friends who fall in love with the same girl. Their great friendship is put to test as they both embark on separate journeys to win the love of that one girl.
