Let’s take note of the police’s use of the phrase ‘sexually assaulting somebody’ and media reports usage of the same phrase or the other ‘allegedly raping a girl’. ASP Afia Tenge told CitiFm yesterday that, “He [KKD’ is being held for allegedly assaulting somebody sexually. He has not been charged now for any offence, till we get preliminary evidences or material to prosecute him according to the charges that will be proffered against him depending on the evidence that we get.”
