The last person to make such a claim, Blakk Rasta, got himself into hot trouble when he was hauled before Parliament’s Priviledges Committee and he apologized profusely. Now King Ayisoba has made a similar claim, but he didn’t even limit his claim to just parliament but he says 90% of all politicians smoke the international herb.

The former Ghana Music Awards winner, in an interview, said that in terms of live band performances, he is simply on another level and no hiplife artiste in the country can match up.
King Ayisoba was for a time the most popular musician in Ghana and since those heady days, he has done all right for himself – but it was not always that easy for the one time VGMA song of the year award recipient.
Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio, Ayisoba revealed that for many years he slept on the streets as a homeless person, constantly at the mercy of the heavenly elements.

It was all Girl Power last night as beautiful ladies from all parts of the country converged at the National Theater for the much buzzed about Becca’s Girls Talk concert.
The very successfully show saw surprise appearances by Van Vicker, Kwesi Oteng, Lil Win, King Ayisoba, Trigmatic, Kwaw Kesse, and singer Kesse. The star studded event also saw celebrities Martha Nkrumah, Nana Ama McBrown, Sandra Ankobiah and Mzbel on their feet dancing and having a jolly good time.
The show which was billed to start at 7pm started rather late with the opening act performing at around 9pm. This however did not stop the audience from having a good time as they were various interesting and funny moments.
Becca who has grown so much over the years as a songstress and a performer thrilled the audience with hit songs like ‘You lied to me’,‘Daa keda keda’ and ‘African Woman’.
The theme of the concert was ‘women empowerment’ and with the presence of notable women in politics like the MP for Dome Kwabenya –Adjoa Sarfo Katanka and also an encouraging speech by the deputy of Tourism- Ms Abla Dzifa Gomashie, I am sure the message was driven home sound and clear.
One very interesting moment of the concert was the demonstration of the use of female condoms by a representative from the Ghana Aids Commission. She had the crowd roaring with laughter with her very graphic description of the use of the female condom. It was also a good idea that all the members of the audience were given free condoms to practice what they had just been taught.

Becca is one ‘chick’ I will not hate on for her work any day unless she becomes a cow like some people I know in the Entertainment Industry.
