No matter how you construct the sentence, it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth–I mean, how can a whole former Minister of State who later became a Vice-President and then a President somewhat claims he will be homeless if the state does not gift him a house he lived in while in office as a president.

This is embarrassing to President Mahama–that’s if what he is telling us is that after all these many years of work, he could not build a decent house where he will house his family on retirement.

And it’s not only an embarrassment to president Mahama, the whole convention which requires Ghanaians to find residential and office accommodations for well-paid politicians once they leave office ought to be re-examined.
