Ghanaian gospel Joe Mettle has disclosed that he was tempted at some point in time to produce secular music with the aim of making his fans and followers happy.

2017 VGMA Artist of the Year, Joe Mettle, has pushed back against the top 20 most played songs in Ghana list released by the Musicians Union of Ghana, describing it as merely the opinion of the compilers.

Musician Union Of Ghana (MUSIGA) through Mr Adu Poku has explained why no gospel song made it on to the list of 2017 Top 20 Most Played Songs On Radio.
The list was researched and compiled by Kisema–a logging system company in Ghana and presented last Friday at a press soiree to MUSIGA of which they went ahead to release to the general public.
