It was like the last supper—just that this had no Jesus Christ or disciples and no one was going to be crucified.
For some reason, I thought I could do more than I did in Ghana within the 5 days that I was there. I had booked meetings with several people without any room for delay or ‘push-forward’.
I was supposed to have breakfast with Ama K. Abebrese on Friday morning and it was when we tried to reschedule that I realize things won’t happened as I’ve planned.
At this stage, I had meetings with Jackie Appiah, Samira Yakubu, Juliet Ibrahim, Roselyn Ngissah, Fred Nuamah and others still pending—-and I had less than 24 hours left in Ghana.
It was a busy trip which meant even as at Friday afternoon, I had not been able to properly sit-down with my friends and the several GC Staff writers based in Ghana for a chit chat.
I therefore quickly arranged the ‘Last Supper’ by pulling some of the people I was to meet together at Golden Tulip for some sort of mini party…
The table was full of food, drinks and humour ….
At my little ‘run away’ party were Ghanaian Actress-Jackie Appiah, Costumer & manager of Jackie Appiah-Samira Yakubu, Juliet Ibrahim, GC Staff writers-Edith Faalong and Ebenezer Anangfio.
Several friends including Daniel Ofori Amanfo (Don1), Ameyaw Debrah, Frederick Offei (Koolio), wife of Koolio-Bernice, and Mavis Tagoe were also in attendance.
