Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has heaped massive praises onto the shoulders of her husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo, emphatically declaring him the wisest man on earth.
According to the veteran singer, everything she has in her career is due to her husband’s astute management and thus as far as she’s concerned, God is the only one wiser than Mr Twum-Ampofo.
Gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy has rescinded her decision to return the VGMA awards plaques she has won due to allegations of bribery levelled against gospel artists by CharterHouse’s PRO George Quaye.
Speaking to Mike 2 on Adom Fm, the singer’s manager and husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo, said the singer was no more returning the plaques because CharterHouse had taken steps that has dissociated themselves from Quaye’s irresponsible comments.
The management of veteran gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy have threatened to return every single VGMA awards plaque she has unless CharterHouse’s George Quaye can clear the air on bribery allegations he made.
The head of communications for the event organising body recently claimed that gospel musicians attempt to bribe their way to awards most, a comment that inflamed artists of the genre which is the one supposed to be ‘godly’.
