The breakdown of the rule of law in Ghana continues unnoticed, because in some instances we like the outcome. But if after all these micro cases a macro one hits us all in the face everyone would bend over backwards to show their surprise at how it all came out of the blue.
We like to scream about Ghana’s democratic credentials, but whenever something happens the populace does not like, they take the law into their own hands. That is what happened to the unfortunate gentleman in Nima, that’s what has been happening in Tuobodom and some of our Senior High Schools, and now that is what has happened in Kwapong.
