A company in India has instituted a new policy whereby women who are menstruating get the first day of their periods off.
‘Culture Machine’, which counts 75 women among its employees, said the policy is aimed at making the company more ‘female friendly’.

Just as his body was about to be cremated, an Indian man whose name has been given as Sandeep , presumed dead after being bitten by a snake woke up at his very own funeral.
Sandeep, was bitten by a snake while collecting wood from the forest far from his village. When he got back to his village in the Raisen district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, he told his family that he had been bitten by a snake.
