Lynxx Entertainment signed singer, Kuami Eugene has reacted to the claim that Ghanaians think he stole a song from the Nigerian musician sensation, Ice Prince.
The young musician soon after the release of his single track “Wish Me Well”, was criticised from all angles on social media for picking most of his words from a song by Ice Prince.
Hiplife artiste, Marthin King Arthur known in the music circles as Kofi Kinaata has advised his colleague, Kuami Eugene to stay original and stop taking samples from other artistes.
He said this because Kuami Eugene has been in the news for constantly dabbing lyrics from other musicians. Eugene first took some of his lyrics from Sadiki Diabate for his “Confusion” track. And again his “Wish Me Well” has been reported to be a song by Nigerian artiste Ice Prince.
Naija’s Hip-hop artiste, Ice Prince has expressed his love for the popular Ghanaian language, Twi.
Obviously, the collaboration between himself and Ghana’s Kuami Eugene is the reason behind his affection towards the Twi language.
Kuami Eugene has pulled off quite the coup as he has managed to grab Nigerian star Ice Prince for a remix of the song he’s alleged to have stolen from him.
Recently Eugene was embroiled in yet another plagiarizing scandal as his recent single ‘Wish Me Well’ was found to contain certain similarities with an old Ice Prince track.
Once might be a coincidence but three times is a trend. Kuami Eugene is developing a reputation for daylight robbery.
The artist has been tagged in the past as a fine songwriter as before becoming a singer he wrote songs for numerous artists.

Ive Prince has just revealed the tracklist for his upcoming album, “Jos To The World”.
The 19-track album will be released on the 28th of October. And it will be Ice Prince’s first album under his “Super Cool Cats imprint.
