William Amui, better known as Ramzy in showbizness, has let us in on how the death of Ibrahim Sima, EXOPA boss and model actually happened and how much his death could have been avoided.
Ramzy, who was released late last year after serving ten years in the Nsawam prison, claims the death of Sima was as a result of the negligence of the prison guards.
According to the report: The Head of Public Relations at the Police Hospital, ASP Juliana Obeng told Citi News that the family of Ibrahim Sima has since been informed of the news.
She also confirmed that Ibrahim Sima died at the Police Hospital between the hours of 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm. The report goes further to state that he complained of headache a day before he died.
However, a secret tape interview available to GhanaCelebrities.Comindicates that there is more to the earlier report published on Ibrahim Sima’s death. According to the tape, Ibrahim was playing soccer with his colleagues in the prison yard. He collided with one of the players and seriously hurt his ribs.
According to the tape, he allegedly complained several times to the prison officers that he is going through severe pains but he was ignored – with the reason that the prison has no car to carry him to an outside hospital other than the one in the prison’s premises.
He sustained the injury for days and complained bitterly of pains – until when his situation got worst. By the time the officers attempted organizing themselves to take him to an outside hospital for proper treatment Ibrahim Sima had died – NOT AT THE Police Hospital as the PRO of the hospital stated.
Again, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service, DSP Vitalis Aiyia, also confirmed that Ibrahim Sima was sent to the Police Hospital where he died but the tape confirms otherwise.
The Narcotic Control Board of Ghana has realized that, some cocaine Barons do not really care to spend years in prison and finally come out to enjoy their cocain money and assets. As a result of this trend, the new measure is to confiscate assets of cocain Barons serving prison sentences.
It has been announced that, the assets of the boss of Exopa Modelling Agency ‘ Ibrahim Sima’ will be confiscated but not given to the State, It will rather be sold to the public. I think this action is perfect and fair…
The acting Executive Director of NACOB, Yaw Akrasi Sarpong told Citifmonline that “Everyday you have about hundred people who have worked with couriers, they are not bothered because when they go to prison the barons look after them and in the case of Ghana in particular where the legal space is common law jurisdiction, there is a lot of avenues of people to be defended.
