The spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sani Dara, has debunked rumours that the vacant Black Stars job has been handed to former manager Kwesi Appiah.

Social media reports Tuesday night claimed the Israeli had died after suffering a heart attack, but Sani Dara debunked those claims in a press briefing held earlier today.
I don’t know why but we seem to have a huge aversion to the truth in this country. Especially when it comes to something concerning ourselves, in which case no matter how bad it is, you have to hold your tongue because it would be ‘unpatriotic’ to speak out.
The Ghana Premier League is in terrible shape. This is a fact, independent of whether Ghanaian journalists say so or not. So to try and lay the blame of its demise on them, as everyone seems intent on doing these days- is simply disingenuous and a huge matter of shifting the goalposts.
Those running the GFA have so lost touch with reality, these days it doesn’t seem worth the bother to react to whatever they say- because you know by definition its going to be a hot, steaming pile of horsesh*t.
Sanni Daara especially, as the organisations communication officer, has gone off the edge. The former BBC journalist, who you would think would know of the intricacies of the communication process- has rather become the FA’s pitbull, sent out to attack anyone at the slightest hint of disagreement with the body.
