Gawker Media Files For Bankruptcy After $140m Ruling Against Them In Hulk Hogan S*xtape Lawsuit

The parent company of the popular online gossip site Gawker, Gawker Media, has filed for bankruptcy.
Gawker Media recently suffered a crushing $140m ruling against them in a case brought by former wrestler Hulk Hogan for publishing a s*x tape of his without his permission.

Former WWE star Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, has scored a huge victory outside the ring, after he won a case against the website Gawker for publishing a leaked tape showing Hogan having s*x with his best friend’s wife.
The Florida jury hearing the case awarded the legendary wrestler $115m in damages, agreeing with his argument that the release violated his privacy, and that the video was not newsworthy.

The wrestling legend who got cut loose by the WWE for making some racist comments is insisting he’s not racist, but showing strong support for the Donald is not going to help.

Hogan was ambushed by TMZ, and he had some interesting comments to make on his firing. He claims he’s cool with it and is sure he’ll get back to working with WWE soon. Oh, and he thinks the country is ready for Vice President Hogan on the ticket of Donald Trump.
