At the 2018 Quality Conference of the mobile device giant Consumer Brand Group in July, Richard Yu did not show too much enthusiasm for the outstanding performance and data of the past half year. Instead, he spent more time talking about his thoughts and plans for the future.
Even though, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) looked down totally on Patapaa who increased the level of Ghanaian music to a higher level after releasing his popular song “One corner” by ‘gifting’ the ‘Most Popular Song’ of the year award to Fancy Gaddam in the just ended VGMA.
According to Huawei Ghana, they think Patapaa’s “One Corner” song had no challenger under the year review and for that matter, deserves an award.
