Nigerian comedian Gordon’s has called for a highly unorthodox ban on the collection tithes and offerings to be placed on Nigerian churches by the government to help flush out all the fake pastors in the system.
Gordon’s made the comments during a comedy special, making it a little hard to discern whether he was being serious or joking – but there’s no doubt such a measure would lead to massive outcry if any politician thought of enacting it.
