US based organisation ‘Freedom House’ has released its annual global Press Freedom Rankings, and Ghana’s rankings have fallen below its previous level.
Ghana, which have consistently ranked as having a free press environment, fell to ‘partly free’ in the 2015 rankings, due to a series of actions by government and its agencies that limited the freedom of the operations of the fourth estate.
