The Editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr, has revealed how a trio of Chinese women who are very influential in the galamsey business manage to hold onto their power irrespective of which government is in charge.

Speaking on Joy Fm’s Newsfile Saturday, Kweku Baako said these women have copies of s*x tapes involving some of the most powerful politicians in the country, and that makes them virtually untouchable.

The government of China is apparently unhappy about how they are being portrayed by the Ghanaian media in the galamsey saga and they want their Ghanaian counterparts to do something about it.

Two Chinese Embassy officials paid a call on the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources Friday to express their grievances with said coverage and warn it could damage bilateral relations between the two nations.

That’s according to Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako, the editor of the New Crusading Guide and Anas’ immediate boss.

The issue of galamsey (small scale, illegal mining), has plagued successive governments in this country, with none able to really find a solution to it.
