The leader of one of the longest running and most successful groups in Ghanaian music at the moment, 4X4, Captain Planet, has lamented how the act of being in a group limits the creativity of a musician.

Coded, member of the 4X4 music group, has revealed that the idea for the group to go solo came from Fresh Prince and that he was actually in opposition to the idea.
According to him, the decision was taking collectively by the group after Fresh Prince brought the idea but at the time he wasn’t on board with it.
Member of the long time hiplife singing group 4X4, Coded, formerly known as Abortion, has all but confirmed the break-up of the group.
Coded, in an interview with Joy News, refused to answer any question about the group and said he would only do so after he has released his own song in the coming days.
The individual members of the legendary hiplife group 4×4 have been working separately for a few years now to the point where they are hardly a group anymore, but member Captain Planet says breaking up is the last thing they are going to do.

Ofori-Atta alleged that after the recent good news surrounding Captain Planet’s wife, Uche Ofodile, landing a top job with Facebook, Coded also wanted to be in the news and thus decided to stage this accident.
