If any lawyer in Ghana deserves to be awarded it’s Francis Xavier-Sosu, who over the past year or two has had to battle some really frivolous battles but who persevered and has come out the other side still winning.
Sosu has been a known quantity for a long time as a human rights lawyer, but then sometime ago he was embroiled in a tussle with the General Legal Council, who stripped him of his licence and banned him from practising law for three years.
