The Black Stars of Ghana remained mired outside the top 50 teams in the world as the latest Fifa rankings have them at 52nd.
The senior national team have remained stagnant from their ranking in last month’s edition.

Ghana Drops To 45th In The World In Latest Fifa Rankings – Brazil Back To World No.1
The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped back to 45th in the world in the latest Fifa /Coca Cola world rankings after a momentary move up in last month’s ranking.
The Stars dropped from their March high of 43rd back to 45th, which would be their position by the time new coach Kwesi Appiah takes charge of the team on May 1.

The Black Stars of Ghana have moved up a couple places in the latest Fifa World Rankings released by the world governing body.
Ghana finished a disappointing 4th at the just ended Afcon, but have improved their dismal world ranking since it ended, moving from the 50’s down to the 40’s.

The Black Stars of Ghana have moved back into the top 50 teams in the world following their Afcon campaign which saw them finishing fourth overall.
Ghana had dropped to 54th in the world prior to the tournament, our lowest ranking in over a decade, but the run to the semi-finals of the continent’s flagship tournament have dragged them back up.
