Elephants Kneel To Pay Respect To Late King Bhumibol Of Thailand Who Died On October 13

thailand-king-elephants-110816Thailand’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya on Tuesday saw eleven albino elephants kneeling to show respect to the country’s late king,  Bhumibol Adulyadej who died on the 13th of October.
The elephants and about 200 handlers marched to the glittering Grand Palace before the animals crouched down for the observation of a minute of silence in memory of the king, who died last month, aged 88, after 70 years on the throne.
