Award-winning Ghanaian singer – Efya – has declared that she’s a lover of s*x.
However, this does not come as a big surprise to some of us who know the person behind the name Efya – someone who planned to break her virginity at age 17 and actually carried it out on time as planned.
Efya made this revelation on Africa Magic’s ‘@ Home with Michelle’ where she appeared as guest on the show.
According to her, seks makes her who she is and she does not intend to change her personality which includes the love for seks.
Ghanaian musician-Efya is looking bold and beautiful in the above photo—and we truly love her short hair. But for a second look, we wouldn’t have known that’s our own Efya…
That pose is also a killer!

The question about who headlines this year’s Girl Talk Concert remains unanswered as organizers of the event have refuted claims that Efya will be the headliner.
Becca, who was a strong force in the annual event, parted ways with her manager Kiki Banson and his EKB records- organizers of the Girl Talk concert.
Some fathers can be really ‘something’ and it seems Efya’s Dad disappeared when she needed him most and then showed his head when she was all fine…
According to the Ghanaian singer, she only met her dad when she was 23 years old—pretty shocking right?
In a recent interview with Myafricapodcast.com, the singer said, ‘’I met him when I was twenty-three. It was pretty much me and my mum. I was ten years old and she [her mum] got married again.’’
She continued; ’My mum calls me and she is like come over and meet someone. I am like ‘okay’. I asked who that is and she said ‘okay it’s Bab’s’. I said ‘when you say Babs, do you mean my dad?’ She said, ‘yes’. My mum said my dad was kinda in town and he was trying to see me. I was like okay…’’
‘’So I went over and he was like ‘hey what’s up?’. It was really normal for me. I didn’t have any epic moment. My mum and I were even laughing over it. I was like ‘hey nice to meet you’. I wasn’t [gonna be] all daddy and everything about it. ‘’ the musician added.

Finally, finally, the much anticipated vigil of our time – #DumsorMustStop Vigil – has come to an end. As some Ghanaians already know, the purpose of this protest march from Legon to Tetteh Quarshie was to mount pressure on the sitting government to find a lasting solution to the erratic power supply and the current energy crisis the country is facing.
What started as a result of a single tweet from actress Yvonne Nelson ended up gaining massive support from some fellow celebrities and several Ghanaians who are also going through the same ‘dumsor’ ordeal.
Real name-Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor, the musician describes herself as “a Ghanaian neo soul vocalist, songwriter, performer and actress from Kumasi.”
She is the daughter of Nana Adwoa Awindor, a filmmaker and celebrity host of the late television show Greetings From Abroad. Efya got her first exposure to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show.
Apart the above photo of Efya, we also have some photos of Joselyn Dumas, Itz Tiffany, Kafui Danku, Mzbel, Jackie Appiah and others below…
Speaking to Hitz Entertainment in 2012, Efya said “I don’t use narcotics before my performance, after my performance, through my performance and during the day. I don’t do drugs, me, my name is E-F-Y-A and I do not do drugs,”.
She continued “I don’t know why people say I do drugs, nobody out there who has said that I do drugs has ever seen me do it. I can swear down and tell you that because I don’t do drugs. I smoke cigarettes, I do that you see me doing it when I’m out it’s my thing but nobody can judge me on that but the thing is I don’t do drugs,”.
She added, “I have heard this; I have heard it over and over since the University but the thing is nobody has ever come out with any kind of solid evidence that I do drugs.”
So Efya herself admitted to smoking but her mother- Nana Adwoa Awindor of ‘Greetings from Abroad’ fame, has come out this week to say, she has never seen her daughter smoke—sort of saying it never happens instead of advising her.
This the definition of a bad parent. Efya has on record admitted to smoking and many people have confirmed seeing her smoking—others even allege she smokes too much weed and here is her mother saying this.
Two things may have been happening; Efya must have eaten some large banku or fufu before the event, which mean’t she shouldn’t have wore that dress at all. At best, she should have had some salad—but Africans are no goats, remember.
Secondly, it could be that she is putting on weight and for most African women, the fat gets stored in the stomach area which is really bad.
More importantly, we should just learn how to dress in accordance to our body type and size…
Whatever it is, she took to twitter to present a silly comment to her critics, saying, she is developing abbs!
